2008 National Marina Day 

On August 9th, Delaware City Marina celebrated "National Marina Day".  Please enjoy a few of the photos from the celebration.

Above:  Capt Jimmy in the background handles all the duties at the grill with incredible aplomb as guests make their way through the self-serve line next to the shop. 

Now, I ask you:  How many boatyards could possibly serve food in their storage yards next to their repair shop?

 DELAWARE CITY MARINA BECOMES 12th CLEAN MARINA IN STATE

Delaware City Marina became the 12th marina in the state to meet the standards and best practices of the state's "Clean Marina" program.

In a ceremony on the sun deck ofthe marina, DNREC's Deputy Secretary, David Smalls presented the marina with the clean marina flag & certificate.
